A Delphi Consensus-Based Chronic Pelvic Pain Standardized Ultrasound Approach

Objective: To develop a standardized, consensus-based international ultrasound approach on the elements that should be included in initial assessment of women with CPP can be, future, applied clinical practice. Methods: A Delphi survey was conducted an panel experts and ultrasound, selected for their scientific experience subject. Three rounds questions were carried out to assess main parameters reporting template. For variables template, priori consensus criteria used reach agreement. Results: Of 86 invited, 21 completed final (third) round process. Experts represented North America, South Europe, Australia. The template established by experts’ contains 1) quality examination, 2) necessary equipment, 3) regions evaluated, 4) must exam. Conclusion: Based methodology, we propose standardized CPP. Whilst it requires validation, this tool may serve standardize performance indication CPP, enhancing evaluation broad differential diagnostic applicability.
